When I went to try one of these machines in person, the Horizon line really stood out. I'm not a runner, nor do I hope to become a serious one. I simply want a treadmill I can walk/jog on because, lets face it, I won't be running more than 5 minutes at a time anyway. Several things made this the right choice for me. The body was solid, there was no resistance between the belt and floorboard when my feet landed, and the "push once" buttons to set the speed are so much better than having to reduce/raise the speed incrementally as on many other machines(think steadily pressing a button while running and getting farther and farther away from the console... difficult. Not so with this one). Another feature I love is the hydraulic release. I'm not sure that is what it is called; but to let the track down from space saver mode you simply push a button with your foot and step out of the way as the runningboard slowly, gently lowers to the ground. NICE! Best of all, this machine is affordable. I would deffinately recommend this to a friend. Also, it was pretty quiet. :)
Check and compare Treadmills here before you buy any.
