I'm having the same problem.

The machine makes a loud clanking sound on every other step.

Drives me CRAZY!

I can't pinpoint the problem.

Very aggravating.

Can't get a tech to my area because they say it's too remote.

It sure as hell wasn't too remote to take my money!

Tell them at sole you are not completely dis-satisfied and you want a new F80 or your money back and that you are tired of all the problems.

I had the same types of problems with my F80 pre 2009 model after 2 years and only 48hours on it stopped working.


i told them I was not completely dis-satisfied and they sent me a new matching new 2009 version and picked up the old one.


all this took over 1 month to complete but so far the new one works great and looks better.
