I bought this treadmill because I have limited space in which to use it and store it (a tugboat). I have run many marathons and know how to train properly. When I can't get ashore to run (my first choice) then I jump on this treadmill so I don't miss a day of training. It doesn't do everything the bigger treadmills do, but for an occassional workout, it's an excellent option. It is a lot more treadmill than what I expected for the size and money. Don't let the small size worry you. Unless you are a very large person, or very clumsy, the smaller belt should not be a problem. It hasn't been an issue for me, even when the tugboat is rocking a little. I think this is a fantastic little machine.
