Schwinn 820P Treadmill Review

Schwinn 820P Treadmill

The Schwinn 820p treadmill is arguably the best model from Schwinn as of the moment.

But, when compared to mid-priced units from other brands, this machine still needs a lot of improvement.

Is It Right for You?

If you’re looking for a treadmill with a great motor warranty, then you’ve come to the right page. This unit has one of the best motor warranties below $1,500. However, other than the motor, it has below average quality parts.

Features and Benefits

The Schwinn 820p comes with a 2.0HP continuous duty motor that has a speed range of 0.5-10mph and an incline range of 0-15%. This motor is pretty decent but I still think it lacks the power to really compete with what top mid-priced treadmills are offering.

This machine also features 10 workout programs. The 5 Preset and 3 User-Defined programs give you more variety in your exercise so you won’t easily get bored using it, while the 2 heart rate programs is perfect for those wanting a more efficient run.

And finally, as I’ve mentioned before, this unit has one of the best motor warranty for its price range. It boasts a 30 year motor warranty. Other warranties include, 30 years for frames, 2 years for parts and electronics, and 1 year for parts and wear items.

Weakness

Its quality is definitely a weakness. Most of its parts came or were manufactured from abroad which is the reason for its low quality.

Recommendation

I don’t recommend the Schwinn 820p treadmill because quite honestly, other than the motor warranty, I don’t see any other reason why you should settle for this treadmill.
