All in all it is a value and effective. However, on one occasion I was walkin a fast clip and the unit shut down..hmmmmmm! Then I powered it back up to continue walking. But it immediately got faster and faster and I had to move my feet to the side-rails. I don't think the fastest runner in the world could have ran the speed it went to. I turned it off and powered it up again. It has worked properly every time before this incident and afterward. If an elderly person or unaware person had of been on this they would have been thrown off for sure. And our house is small and the back of the belt is against the wall. This would have chewed up anyone or anything caught there. But that aside, it's been great!! ;)
