Bladez 5.9T Treadmill

(Montreal, Quebec, Canada)

Bought it on Saturday, on Sunday the motor stopped working.

Worst Customer service. Line is choppy
and they refused to refund my money back, instead they offered to fix it.

After 1 hour on the phone shouting and screaming, I threatened to sue them. They finally gave me an authorization number to return the treadmill to the store I bought it from.

A complete nightmare for a consumer.

Awesome Treadmill
by: Lisa Jennings

I've had my treadmill 8 years and it was great, not a days trouble but just a couple of weeks ago I was on it and when I went to increase my speed the digital numbers went crazy and just like that it stopped.

It seems to be related to the speed button, because I tried it again and it did start but when I hit the increase speed button it goes crazy.

Feeling sad I loved my treadmill and I'm just learning to run and was looking forward to it again now that summer's coming to an end.

If anyone knows how to fix my problem please let me know, as I'm not ready to buy a new one just not the right time.

Well,
by: Anonymous

Sorry about your luck with the treadmill, but it sounds like you're kind of a jerk. I bet it went down like this: you got a shitty motor. you called them, they asked if they could fix it a couple times and you flipped out.
good job.

Bladez Inspirit

by J Robinson
(Ontario Canada)

Purchased elliptical approx. one year ago a week after warranty expired machine quit on me and i was recieving a E1 message I called Bladez said they would still honour warranty. Repairman came out said i needed a new computer and belt. Parts were sent but Bladez would not send the repairman back said at least I recieved the parts. Called a local exercise repair shop who state that the motor was the problem not the computer...I am now taking the machine to the dump where it belongs,

Completely satisfied
by: PG

I bought mine approx 7-8 years ago and used intensively for a couple of years and intermittently since.

I have been very satisfied with the performance, zero problems don’t understand the negative feedback, maby I was lucky in my purchase but frankly it’s been the best piece of exercise equipment I have bought.

I don't get it.
by: AJ

I've had mine for about 6 years and I use it 5-6 days a week. I don't get all the bad reviews. Mine still works perfectly.

I lost one of the rubber wheels for moving it, but everything else is like new.

My bladez is also showing E1, makes one thing these unites are factory set to malfunction shortly after Guarantee expiration.

Mine failed about two weeks after guarantee expired.

ion 7.9

by vanessa
(canada)

I bought the treadmill for 1,300 dollars, it was barely used the first 1 year and 1/2, finally wanted to use it, it worked great but as time went on the speed would slow down out of the blue from 4.0 to 1.0 and it won't go, i can get power and everything but now it won't start. I have emailed the place in the US, but i don't get a response from them. Not happy. Thinking about get circuit board for it, or just getting a eliptical, not sure what to do. So all in all not happy with the company, or the treadmill at that for failing so soon.

I had same problems 10 years ago
by: Anonymous

Have the same mill. When we first started using ours we had strange problems like you. I unplugged the treadmill and removed the plastic cover over the motor and then you will see the circuit board. The circuit board has a lot of push on electrical connections. I had to remove the connections and give them a squeeze with a pair of players so they would have a proper electrical connection.

Make sure they are all tight connections and none are loose. Put the cover back on plug in your machine and your problems will be solved. Mine is almost ten years old now and it still works fine. No more problems.

Moving Ion 7.9t
by: 66_mustang_6

Yes arms come off, then dash board. Unplug the dashboard at the white plug. Unbolt the 2 uprights and either strap the upright to the running deck or pull the cord out from it. Be sure to either take one bolt out of the lift shock for the running deck or strap the deck the to the from with the wheels on it or it will try to open when moving the unit.

Ion buttons
by: 66_mustang_6

Very common problem... easy fix with some double stick tape... issue is console buttons collapse and unit thinks you are pushing them.. If too many buttons do this then the treadmill will power on and you cant adjust your weight on the screen or get the unit to operate.
