The Woodway Desmo S treadmill is the most expensive home treadmill in the market today.
But, it is still considered by many as a great value treadmill with all the features it boasts.
If you’re looking for a huge and muscular treadmill, then you’ve come to the right page. This machine is arguably the biggest and most powerful home treadmill as of the moment. However, this tank-like Woodway doesn’t come cheap. With a price tag of nearly $10,000, I would only recommend it to hardcore runners. And that’s only if they can afford it.
Like other Woodways, the Desmo S also comes with the world famous patented slat belt transportation system. This unique belt combined the conventional belt and deck design into one to produce a tank track-like running surface. With it, you’ll get less friction which means less wear and tear, and a longer treadmill life.
Also, this running area has a 22” x 68” dimension. It is long enough to accommodate tall people and wide enough to accommodate big people. Plus, the 550lbs user weight capacity ensures that the treadmill will remain stable and powerful no matter how heavy you are.
The 2.0 HP continuous duty servo drive motor provides excellent power. This motor can give you a speed range of 0-12.5mph and elevation of up to 15%. So whether you’re a beginner or an advance runner, intense workouts are assured.
As with most Woodways, the Woodway Desmo S treadmill can also be customized to fit your needs. If you think the max speed is not enough, you have the option to upgrade it up to 18mph. Other optional features include pre-programmed and user defined workouts, an LCD display, more readouts, Polar™ monitor chest strap, 220 V or 208 V - 50/60 Hz Power Supply, and RS-232 serial interface port (includes software).
And finally, Woodway treadmills offer a limited fitness center (for institutional facilities use) warranty of 3 years for parts and 1 year for labor. It also has a limited home warranty (for personal home use) of 4 years for parts and 1 year for labor.
Just like other Woodways, this one also comes with poor fit and finish quality. Also, the console is a little unstable when you run at high speeds. But all in all, this is still one of the best treadmills out there today.
If you can afford it, I highly recommend the Woodway Desmo S treadmill. This is one of the best treadmills money can buy.

I’m currently having a hard time locating an internet retailer carrying the Woodway Desmo S treadmill, so for now, I suggest you locate a dealer near you through Woodway.com. It is normally sold for $9,845.
