Weslo Crosswalk 5.0T Treadmill Review

Weslo Crosswalk 5.0T Treadmill

The Welso Crosswalk 5.0T treadmill is a really, really inexpensive fitness equipment that you can use to do very light workouts on. But don't expect much in terms of features and quality as this one is made from cheap parts in order to bring the price down.

Among the features that you can find in the Welso Crosswalk 5.0T includes the 2.25 HP Impulse motor, CrossWalk Workout Arms, 2-position adjustable incline (manual), the Comfort Cell Cushioning system, digital speed control, and quick workout apps.

Is It for You?

If you want a treadmill and your budget is only $300, then this Weslo machine is all that you may be getting. Be prepared, however, for a lot of headaches after your purchase as $300 worth of an exercising machine is not meant to work properly for very long. Besides there are other budget treadmills out there that provides better value than this machine. (visit our best treadmill page)

What You’ll Get:

As I've mentioned before, you will get only the most basic features of a treadmill. Read on and find out if this is really what you need to achieve your fitness goals.

The Weslo Crosswalk 5.0T treadmill is build with a 2.25 HP(not continuous duty) Impulse™ Motor. Although it is not as powerful as that of an advanced training machine, the treadmill can accommodate some light walks from some light users. However, if you opt for demanding runs, the machine will not be able to handle it.

The treadmill is designed with a technology called the CrossWalk® Workout Arms which, according to the company, allows burning up of calories up to 50% more! If true, this means better weight and figure and improved cardio performance.

It also comes with an Easy Pulse heart rate monitor that provides heart rate reading as you workout. The important fitness statistics of your workout will then be displayed on its LCD screen. Other information that are given to you are your speed, distance, time, and calories burned.

Like most treadmills, the Weslo Crosswalk 5.0T treadmill comes with a Comfort Cell Cushioning system that is suppose to provide a safer and more convenient running experience. However, there have been numerous complaints by users/owners that they don't feel any cushioning on this machine.

Weaknesses:

The Crosswalk 5.0T treadmill is very plain, very simple, and very cheap; its features are very basic and not all of them are working properly. At $300, expect to get a low-quality frame, weak motor, plastic parts, a narrow walking area, short warranty period, and a bad customer service, Even the LCD screen is not well-lit so you may find reading the figures difficult. Always remember, you get what you pay for.

Recommendations:

Even if you have the $300 budget, you might as well save up a little more to be able to afford the more advanced and high-performing treadmill. The Crosswalk 5.0T treadmill may not be worth your time, money, and justification. (visit our best recommended treadmill page to see other budget treadmills we recommend)
