Update: This treadmill has been discontinued.
The Tunturi T80F treadmill is the folding version of the Tunturi T80 treadmill.
Both have identical specs and features except this one is foldable and around $300 more expensive.
If you're a hardcore runner who needs a folding treadmill, then you're in the right page. However, if you have lots of spare areas in your home, I suggest you stick with the non-folding Tunturi T80 and save yourself $300. Or better yet, look for another treadmill using our best buy treadmills page.
The T80F comes with a 2.5HP continuous duty motor. It can be elevated for up to 10%. And surprisingly, this one has a max speed of up 12.5mph which is better than most best buy treadmills in its price range.
This treadmill comes with PSC feature. It allows you to control your training speed without touching the meter. It measures your position on the running track based on the HR transmitter belt’s signal. When you are in the front part of the belt, the speed will increase, in the rear part the speed will decrease, and in the middle, an adjustable zone is reserved for constant speed.
The PSC can be used in manual training, condition tests, the 3 heart rate controlled programs and in all 8 intensity/time scaleable pre-set profiles this treadmill boasts.
The Tunturi T80F treadmill has a 20" x 56" tread belt. I must admit, this tread belt is a little small compared to others in this price range. Hence, be sure to check out comparable best buy treadmills first before deciding to buy.
The console contains the information center display which
combines the graphic profile display and the scrolling training
feedback. You’ll also see your time, distance, speed, elevation, energy
consumption, and heart rate so you'll always know all your important
Just like its non-folding counterpart, this one also needs a bigger belt size and a more affordable price tag.
I don’t recommend the Tunturi T80F treadmill. I believe there are other treadmills out there that would give you more value for your money. I recommend you visit our Landice L7 Pro review. It is currently one of our best buy treadmills above $3,000.
