True 500 NON Treadmill Review

True 500 NON Treadmill

True 500 NON Treadmill

The True 500 Non treadmill is the non-programmable model of the new look 500 series.

It doesn’t feature any pre-programmed, customizable or heart rate workouts but it is cheaper than others in this new lineup.

Is This the Best Treadmill for You?

If you want to own a True treadmill but don’t really need any workout programs, then this is the model for you. It is made for people who want to immediately start their workout then just adjust it as they feel fit. Best of all, it still comes with the best belt and deck combination in the market to give you the smoothest and most silent treadmill experience.

What You’ll Get

This model boasts a 3.0HP continuous duty motor that serves up speeds of up to 10mph and inclines that reaches 15%. So it doesn’t matter whether you’re a beginner or advance runner, the True 500 Non can provide you the intensity you need.

The 20” x 54” running space is big and wide to give you enough room to move and be comfortable during your workout. Plus, with its magnificent belt and deck combination, this unit could very well provide you the best treadmill experience you’ll ever have.

A new feature you’ll find in the 500 Non that can’t be found in cheaper True units is its message center and its True touch technology. The 16 character alpha numeric message center provides motivation to help you to do more in each workout. While the True touch technology allows you to activate command keys with minimal pressure.

And finally, this machine comes with excellent warranty. Its drive motor and all of its parts are covered for 10 years… making this one of the best warranties in its price range. Other warranties include a lifetime for frames and 1 year for labor.

Weakness

This unit’s reliability is definitely a weakness. True Fitness makes treadmills with excellent belt and deck then cut back on their components and features as much as they can. As a result, you’ll get an overpriced average treadmill that looks and feels like a first-rate unit, but only for a few years.

Recommendation

I don’t recommend the True 500 Non treadmill. If you really want to own a True treadmill, I suggest you save yourself a hundred bucks and buy yourself the True 500 HRC classic. It is currently True’s best treadmill in term of value.
