Deck/Belt lubrications or controller
by: CBR.net - Eng

Hi There,

As previously mentioned, please include the make and model of treadmills.

All manufacturers require some sort of lubrication or wax on decks that the walking belt glides across.

Please research your treadmill and be sure to lubricate the deck annually.

Motor controllers can cause erratic speeds when they are in a failing mode.

First maybe check the belt/deck resistance and ensure the belt glides easily across the deck.

If the belt glides freely with no sticking or tacky feel, the controller may need service. Good Luck!

Treadmill Fix
by: Marissa

Hi Celestino:

what make and model is your treadmill? You may need to have it serviced.

Is it still under warranty? If so it maybe easier to call the company and have them fix it.
