Spirit Z300 Treadmill Review

Spirit Z300 Treadmill

Spirit Z300 Treadmill

Update: This treadmill has been discontinued.

To look for an alternative, you might want to check out our best treadmill page.

The Spirit Z300 treadmill is probably the easiest-to-fold treadmill in the market today.

Also, for a folding treadmill, this one is surprisingly very stable. But just like most Spirit treadmills, its quality and reliability are still below average.

Is This Treadmill for You?

If you’re looking for an easy fold-up treadmill, this is your choice. But before you make your decision, I must warn you that the quality of this treadmill isn’t very good. So if you’re someone who puts more premium on quality, I think a better choice for you is the Smooth 9.15HR. It has way better quality for just the same price tag.

What You’ll Get...

You’ll get a powerful 3.0HP continuous duty motor, capable of speeds from 0.1 to 12mph. It can also be elevated from 0-15%. And, it comes with speed and incline control on the arm rests so you can easily adjust the intensity of your workouts.

The 20” x 55” running surface comes with orthopedic belt. Although this unique type of belt might attract you into buying this model, I don’t recommend it. It causes more wear and tear than ordinary belts which would result to all kinds of problems in the future.

Spirit Z300 treadmill is fully equipped with all the programs you’d expect. It has 6 auto programs, 2 user customized programs, and 2 separate heart rate control programs to give more choices and flexibility in your workouts.

Other features include an LED console with 6 windows that display important information, a speaker so you won’t need headphones, and a 2.75” roller that is big enough to easily handle the tread belt.

Weaknesses?

This machine's reliability and its quality are weaknesses Spirit need to improve on. If only it didn't have any of these setbacks, this treadmill could easily have been one of the best folding treadmills in our best buy page.

Recommendation

I wouldn’t recommend the Spirit Z300 treadmill until Spirit does something to improve its quality. Besides, there are other folding treadmills out there that will give you comparable specs and features with better quality for the same price tag. (Smooth 9.15HR)
