The Proform CS11e treadmill is a pretty decent entry level treadmill from Proform.
Its biggest strengths are its low price and good cushioning.
This treadmill would be perfect for those with limited treadmill budgets. It has a very low price tag so most people can afford it. However, cheap treadmills come with cheap parts, so don’t expect it to last very long.
The Proform CS11e has a 2.75 HP/1.75 CHP motor. This is pretty small compared to other treadmills in its price range. So if you consider yourself a serious runner, this treadmill is not for you.
Update: This treadmill has been discontinued.
The One-touch QuickSpeed control allows you to change the speed of your run from 0-10mph without the need of holding down buttons. And, the power incline feature allows you to increase the intensity with its 10% max elevation. But since it is made from cheap parts, I don’t recommend maximizing this treadmill’s capabilities.
The 19” x 55” tread belt comes with ProShox™ impact absorption system. It is an air based cushioning that reduces potential strain and increases comfort.
The Proform CS11e treadmill is compatible with iFIT.com technologies, which provides you with motivation, coaching and fitness personalization. But it also has 8 built-in workouts if all these iFit features are confusing you and you want to start immediately.
The SpaceSaver® Fold Away Design allows you to fold-up the treadmill after use so it doesn’t take up extra room. This feature is perfect for those with limited spaces at home.
And finally, the built-in two-speed CoolAir™ workout fan creates currents of 4-6 mph, the ideal range for body cooling. It keeps you cool especially during those long, grueling workouts.
Like other Proform treadmills, this model also needs some quality improvements. Proform used cheap internal parts in manufacturing this machine which explains why its quality is below average. This is also the reason why they are only offering a short 90 day warranty.
I don’t recommend the CS11e treadmill. I believe it lacks the quality and warranty for people to really consider buying it. If you want a quality budget treadmill, I highly recommend you check out our best treadmill page. There you will find our best recommended treadmill according to price.
