Proform CrossWalk Performance X Treadmill Reviews

Proform CrossWalk Performance X Treadmill

Proform CrossWalk Performance X Treadmill

The Proform CrossWalk Performance X is the cheapest machine in the Crosswalk series.

But it still comes with the upper body resistance arms Crosswalk treadmills are known for.

Is It for You?

This treadmill was made for those who like to exercise with upper body resistance. But I must warn you this treadmill was made from cheap parts. So running on this machine is definitely not recommended. If you really want to workout your upper body while running, you’ll be better off choosing a quality treadmill then just buy some hand weights.

Update: This treadmill has been discontinued.

As an alternative you might want to check out our best treadmill page.

Features and Benefits

The 2.25 HP (not continuous duty) is good only for walking. So if you plan on running, don’t waste your time reading this review. This treadmill is not powerful enough for runners.

One unique feature this and other Crosswalk series treadmills has is the upper body exercise bars. And each of these exercise bars comes with independent adjustable resistance to help you burn more calories while working out.

I believe the 16” x 45” tread belt is too small for most people, even for walking. There are some treadmills out there that can offer bigger belts for the same price tag.

Other features include 3 window LCD display, CoolAir™ workout fan, SpaceSaver® fold away design, EKG2™ Thumb Pulse Sensor, and ProTech™ Cushioning.

Weaknesses

This treadmill lacks the quality, reliability, specs and features to really be worth buying, even in this price range.

Recommendation:

I don’t recommend the Proform CrossWalk Performance X treadmill. There are other treadmills out there in the same price range that offers better quality, specs, and features. (See our best buy treadmills page)
