Life Fitness T7i Treadmill Review

Life Fitness T7i Treadmill

The Life Fitness T7i treadmill comes with a huge running surface and a powerful motor.

However, just like other Life Fitness treadmills, this machine is also overpriced compared to similar models from other brands.

Is This Your Best Buy Treadmill?

If you can’t afford a T9 machine and believe that the T5i lacks the power, size and features that you’ll need, then this treadmill is definitely a great choice. It is cheaper than a T9 treadmill and has better specs and features than the T5i.

What It Offers

As I’ve mentioned above, this machine is more powerful than most Life Fitness treadmills. It comes with a 3.0HP continuous duty motor that has a max speed of 12mph and a max incline of 15%.

The long 60”L x 20”W multi-ply, pre-lubricated running surface gives you lots of room to move and be comfortable during your workout. And, it still features the FlexDeck Shock Absorption System that reduces stress on your joints and muscle (by up to 30% compared to non-cushioned treadmills) while running to minimize injuries.

The Polar® Telemetry (wireless chest strap included) that comes with this treadmill can be used in any of the 6 Heart Rate Zone Training+™ Workouts (Cardio, Fat Burn, Heart Rate Hill™, Heart Rate Interval™, Extreme Heart Rate™). Not only that, you also get Sports Training, EZ incline and Daily Training workouts. As well as 7 My Workouts and a My Custom Workout programs to give you variety and flexibility in your exercise.

Other features include a deluxe 16-character LED message center for easy reading of your workout information, an activity zone user console that has large raised buttons to make it easier for you to change your speed and incline, a reading rack to place magazines and an accessory tray to hold your sports bottles.

Weakness

Like other Life Fitness, this treadmill’s biggest weakness is its price. Expect treadmills from this company to cost more compared to similar models from other brands because you’ll be paying for the name rather than the product.

Recommendation

I would not recommend the Fitness T7i treadmill unless you really want a treadmill from this company and can’t afford any of the T9 models. Besides, in this price range you’ll get better value from buying a Landice or a Precor.
