Life Fitness T5 Treadmill Review

Life Fitness T5 Treadmill

Life Fitness T5 Treadmill

The Life Fitness T5 treadmill is the company’s premiere model with basic features.

It is similar to the Life Fitness T3 except that it is a bit bigger and more powerful.

Is This Your Best Buy Treadmill?

If you’re looking for a basic treadmill with the world renowned Life Fitness brand, then this is one of your decent choices. However, compared to the company’s T3 model, I don’t think the slight improvement in power and size is worth an additional $600.

What It Offers

As I’ve mentioned above, this machine is slightly more powerful than its cheaper counterpart. It boasts a 2.75HP continuous duty motor that has a max speed of 12mph and a max incline of 15%.

The 58"L x 20"W multi-ply, pre-lubricated running surface is another improvement from the T3 version. It provides enough room for you to move and be comfortable during your workout. And, it still features the FlexDeck Shock Absorption System that reduces stress on your joints and muscle (by up to 30% compared to non-cushioned treadmills) while running to minimize injuries.

The Life Fitness T3 treadmill also features 7 pre-programmed workouts (Hill, Random, Manual, Sport Training, 5K Sport Training, 10K Sport Training, EZ Incline™) to give you more variety in your workouts. Plus, you’ll get programming capabilities and a QuickStart function to provide flexibility.

Other features include a 10-character LED readout which shows you basic information regarding your run, a 7x15 LED workout profile display showing your progress, an intuitive console that is user friendly, and a reading rack and an accessory tray to place your magazines and sports bottles.

Weakness

Like other Life Fitness, this treadmill’s biggest weakness is its price. Expect treadmills from this company to cost more compared to similar models from other brands because you’ll be paying more for the name rather than the product.

Recommendation

To conclude, I would not recommend the Life Fitness T5 treadmill. There are other better treadmills out there that would give you more value for your money. Besides, in this price range you can already afford a Landice which is one of the best premium brands in the industry.
