Keys 8800 Treadmill Review

Keys 8800 Treadmill

Keys 8800 Treadmill

The Keys 8800 treadmill is one of most expensive model produced by Keys Fitness.

I find this machine a bit overpriced considering it is worth nearly $800 more than EC 6500 and the improvement was only minimal.

Is It for You?

If you’re looking for a powerful motor, this treadmill has that. Plus, it still comes with the 10 year motor warranty Keys has been known for. But it is priced above $2,000, so you might want to look at your budget again just to make sure that you can afford it.

Features and Benefits

The Keys 8800 treadmill boasts a powerful 3.0Hp continuous duty motor. This is one of the most powerful motors Keys is offering in any of their treadmills. For those who want intense workouts, this machine can be inclined for up to 15% and has a max speed of 10mph.

It has a user weight capacity of 400 lbs so even big people can use this unit. It also has a 20inch x 56inch tread belt which is perfect for tall individuals who requires longer strides.

And finally, it has the 10 year motor warranty all Keys treadmills comes with. But considering this is a $2,000+ unit, the warranty should have been longer. Its other warranties include a lifetime for frames, 2 years for parts and one year for labor.

Weakness

Like all Keys treadmills, the biggest fallback of this unit is its finish quality. The parts are of pretty decent quality but the fit and finish still needs some improvement. Also, with only a few enhancements to show for, I believe this machine was priced too high.

Recommendation

Unless you want to buy an overpriced machine, I don’t recommend the Keys 8800 treadmill. You’ll be better off buying a cheaper Keys model, or better yet browse our best buy treadmills page and find yourself a high quality treadmill.
