HealthRider H79T Treadmill Review

HealthRider H79T Treadmill

If you are looking for an average treadmill that provides average

performance, the HealthRider H79T treadmill might just suit your criterion. Don’t worry! Its price is reasonably average, too.

Among the features to look forward to are the iFit workout apps, iFit wi-fi technology, adjustable FlexStride cushioning system, and one-touch speed controls. However, although it is designed with several cool and advanced features, the HealthRider H79T treadmill is fitting for walkers only.

Is It for You?

What You’ll Get

If you are not an extensive runner and you do not work out rigorously, then the HealthRider H79T treadmill is your perfect exercising machine. The ease of control and cool features it has may also entertain you while you do your regular leisure strides.

Although it appears plain and boring, do not be fooled by its simplicity. The H79T machine has some endearing features to show off.

For one, the iFit technology it features will provide you with variety, flexibility, and network connection. The iFit workout apps matrix allows you to choose which preset program you would like to work on. The iFit alpa-numeric message center, on the other hand, helps you to keep track of your workout session. And finally, the iFit wi-fi compatibility lets you connect to the Internet for more entertainment while working out.

Like most advanced treadmills, the H79T treadmills is designed with the adjustable FlexStride cushioning system that provides a safe and comfortable workout by reducing stress on your knees and joints.

Aside from comfort, this machine also presents convenience and ease of use. It is designed with an adjustable incline and one-touch speed controls. It also features a SpaceSaver design that makes storage fast and easy.

However, being an entry-level for the H series of HealthRider treadmills, the features are limited to these. With its inexpensive price, there’s nothing so extravagant and nothing so special.

Weaknesses:

For someone trying to achieve a specific fitness goal using an exercising machine, the heart rate monitor is important to keep track whether you’re on the right path. With the HealthRider H97T treadmill, this is not existent. Another lacking in the machine is the cooling fan that should cool down the motor during continuous workout. This is the reason why the treadmill is not for rigorous workout – it might heat up during heavy use.

Recommendations:

If you will buy the HealthRider H97 treadmill, be sure to use it lightly and leisurely only. Walks, strides, and gentle jogs should do. Otherwise, if you are looking for a treadmill that you need for rigorous training or heavy use by other members of the family, get something else – a larger, more durable machine that can accommodate the most extensive use over a long period of time.
