broken incline motor

by Juan
(Pennsylvania)

I purchased this treadmill and after it was put together it ran fine but then I noticed that the incline would only go higher and not lower. Once the incline was at its highest point it would not go back down and I could hear the motor trying to do something but it would'nt move back down. The tradmills' incline is now stuck at the highest point and won't budge.

Stuck at 10
by: Anonymous

Honestly, I am go to sell mine and explaining that it is stuck at 10 and never buy another Golds Gym one again. I am spread the word to all my patients not to buy from this company and maybe one day they will address the problem. I waste a lot of money, Even got the warrant and the extended and its not worth it. You cant get hold of them at all.

Same here the incline is stuck at grade 10 and wont go back down. So what do you do? Is it the motor or faulty electrical relay?
