Schwinn 845P Treadmill Reviewed

Schwinn 845P Treadmill

Schwinn 845P Treadmill

The Schwinn 845p treadmill is another pretty decent treadmill from Schwinn.

However, it belongs in the very competitive mid-priced range category. And in this price range, being decent isn’t good enough.

Is It for You?

If you want a machine with a long motor warranty, then look no further. This unit has one of the best motor warranties for a mid-priced treadmill. But other than the warranty, you won’t find anything special with this treadmill.

Features and Benefits

Unlike cheaper Schwinns, this model comes with a 2.5HP continuous duty motor that has a speed range of 0.5-11mph and an incline range of 0-12%... ensuring you that you’ll always get an intense workout no matter what fitness level you’re in.

It also boasts 13 workout programs which include 9 preset, 2 user-defined, and 2 heart rate programs. These programs give more variety and flexibility in your exercise so you won’t easily get bored with the machine.

And finally, like other Schwinn units, this machine also offers a 10 year motor warranty. This motor warranty is definitely hard to match/beat by any machine, even the more expensive ones. Other warranties include, 30 years for frames, 2 years for parts and electronics, and 1 year for parts and wear items.

Most Schwinn parts came or were manufactured from abroad which is the reason why most of their models have below average quality, including this one.

This is a decent treadmill. But, with all the other great choices in this price range, you would be wasting your money if you buy this machine. So to conclude, I don’t recommend the Schwinn 845p treadmill.

If you really want a high quality mid-priced treadmill, then you’ll be better off buying the Sole S77. It is currently our best buy treadmill below $2,000.
