Alliance 950 Treadmill Review

Alliance 950 Treadmill

Alliance 950 Treadmill

Update: This treadmill has been discontinued

The Alliance 950 treadmill is currently Alliance’s most expensive model. It is bigger, more powerful, and has better
features than any other Alliance treadmills in the market today.

Is It Right for You?

If power is what you want, then this machine might be the one for you. And, not only is it big and powerful, it is also priced below $2,000 which makes it more affordable than comparable treadmills from other brands.

Features and Benefits

The Alliance 920 boasts a 3.0HP continuous duty motor. This is the biggest and most powerful motor from Alliance. It can reach a max speed of 12mph and has a max incline of 15%. With numbers like these, you’ll surely get an intense even if you’re a hardcore runner.

The 20” x 61” running surface is also the biggest deck offered by Alliance. However, they used an orthopedic belt for this machine. This belt is softer than ordinary belts, but the problem with it is that it causes more wear and tear that leads to tons of problems in the future.

The 4 preset, 8 custom, and 2 user programs give you more workout variety to choose from. While the EKG pulse grip, heart rate chest strap and the built-in heart rate program allow you to workout in your target heart rate zone.

And last but not least, you’ll still be getting the classic 10 year motor warranty Keys (the owner and manufacturer of Alliance as well as other treadmill brands) brands are known for. Other warranties include a lifetime frame warranty, a 2 year parts warranty and a 1 year labor warranty.

Weakness

The ortho belt is definitely a weakness. Add to this the fact Keys’ machines are known to have questionable quality, and you’ll get tons of repair and maintenance bills once the warranty ends.

Recommendation

I don’t recommend the Alliance 950 treadmill. Ortho belt combined with below average quality would result to lots of headaches in the future.
