True Treadmill 450 HRC experience

I purchased a 450 HRC in Dec of 97 - the first bill or problem I have ever had with it occurred recently - and it is expensive to replace the circuit board - so I'll probably purchase a new treadmill and start with new warranties - especially since the motor is startng to get loud. Overall, the experience was good, although I was hoping it would last longer than 10 years, possibly my expectations were too much?
