TRUE 400P

by Jay
(Mahwah, NJ USA)

I bought a True 400P treadmill from Gymsource in August 2004. Never had a problem until August 2008. The only part left on warranty was the motor. I called Gymsource, they came ($200.00 visit). Through December 2008 Gymsource has since been to my house 7 times, They replaced the motor twice, the speed sensor, the PMW board and they can not get the unit working. It has not worked since that breakdown in August.

I have also spoken directly with True, had one conversation with them but no reply to my latest messages.

For 4 years the unit worked great. I just ordered a new treadmill from Sole. I just didn't feel secure going back to Gymsource.

True 525 HRC
by: Barry

Sounds like my True 525. It is 11 years old and had multiple issues the first 4 years. Several motors, PWMs, sensors etc.

Then it was good for 6 years. Now it broke and I can't get it going for more than a day or two. I should have bought a new one. But is was $3,7000.00 in 2000. Built like a tank but the electrics are unreliable.

Wrong FItness Store
by: paul@fitnessshowrooms.com

That's why you should do your purchasing from Fitness Showrooms. Contact me and I'll help you with this problem. We have the best service technicians around and stand behind every product we sell. We don't sell True treads!!! for that reason.
