Smooth treadmills are being manufactured by Smooth Fitness. They are the only manufacturer of quality fitness equipment who primarily sell over the Internet. They have been in business since 1984. In addition to their successful Web business, they have four retail stores in the Greater Philadelphia area. They've been selling online since 1996 and have been profitable since the beginning.

By selling factory direct and online, Smooth Fitness eliminates the overhead costs of retail sales. That is why they are able to sell fitness equipment at very reasonable prices. Their customers get the convenience of shopping online combined with factory direct prices.

Smooth's Price Range Category

Smooth treadmills fall in the mid price ranged category. Most of these treadmills range from $1,000 to around $2,500. At this price, you'll get a high quality treadmill as proven by Runner's World, which rate Smooth as one of their "Top 10 Treadmills". You should also know that Prevention Magazine, Monster Ratings and Treadmill Doctor gave Smooth high ratings on their individual reviews.

What Smooth Lacks

According to my research, there had been complaints regarding delivery delays. This is usually because of the high demand for a Smooth treadmill. You should also know that these treadmills are a bit hard to move around because of their size and weight. And finally, there's also an issue regarding the extra charge for indoor delivery and set up. Yes, they charge you extra for that, and since their treadmills are huge, you might be forced to pay for this added service.
