OWNER LOVES : IRONMAN ENVISION

by Carol
(Boerne, Texas (N.W.San Antonio area))

We bought the Ironman Envision from Costco a year ago and absolutely love it. (HP 3.0, 120VAC, AMPS 13.5, HZ 60). Retailed about $1,400. and bought it on a special for $900. My husband was about 240 lbs. Now 225. He does the incline runs. We have had no problems at all. I thought for sure I'd be buying a new machine after his pounding on it (running) for a year, but its still like new. The only down fall is the tv unit. They tell you (in the manual and by customer service phone call) that you may have to hook it up to a cable box to use. You absolutely have to get a new box from your cable, dish network, direct tv in order to view the tv. Otherwise the picture is very, very, very fuzzy. You could unhook your current box in one room and run a long cable to this tv and reconnect it to your main tv when you are finished. I was told by Dish Network that I could "T" my main box to this treadmill and leave it connected, but I would loose quality on my main tv. If I were to do it again I would not get it with the tv. Needless to say we do not use the tv. But we absolutely love the Ironman Envision for it's intended use...a treadmill.

Envision worked out well
by: OC Treadmill lifer

I put over 1300 miles on mine before I broke the deck (second deck I've broken. I'm only 230 lbs, but I put a lot of mileage on them). The TV monitor and a good price from Costco convinced me to buy it.
For the TV monitor, I just went down to Radio Shack and bought a little antenna type kit. One part plugged into the cable box in a room near the garage where the treadmill is, the other part plugged into the treadmill TV outlets. It's very easy, should work for satellite receivers as well. So far, it's worked great, I watch TV and listen to my music, it keeps me motivated.
Now I'm off to buy a deck from the treadmill doctor.

IRONMAN EVININSON
by: PTM

Ditto for the Evinson from Costco.Paid $900 also.

Had no trouble with the TV though. Hooked up cable to connection and did some fine tuning via instructions.. Have my unit about 2 years and it still like new. A real quality product.
