I have a HealthRider treadmill that I purchased back in 1995 and it still is better than some of the new treadmills I see today. It is very functional and it allows me to create several different workout programs or use one of the four pre-programmed workouts. The deck is solid with a cushioned mat instead of the usual hard-rubber mats that you see in most treadmill designs. I would highly recommend a HealthRider treadmill to anyone who is considering this type of fitness equipment purchase. It is durable, quiet and has functionality to keep workouts interesting and varied.
