Landice L7 LTD Cardio Trainer Treadmill Review

Landice L7 LTD Cardio Trainer Treadmill

Landice L7 LTD Cardio Trainer Treadmill

The Landice L7 LTD Cardio Trainer treadmill has the same features as the Pro Sports version but with better electronics. However, I

still believe that the Pro Sports model would give you better value for your money.

Is This Treadmill for You?

This treadmill was designed for institutional settings where usage is less than five hours per day. Locations such as condominiums, rehabilitation centers, hotels, and corporations are perfect for the “LTD Series”.

With its heavy price tag, only hardcore runners should consider this treadmill. So if you’re not serious about running, then I suggest you visit our best buy treadmills page and look for a treadmill that fits you best.

A Little Info Regarding the Different Landice Models

A lot of people get confuse on treadmills and their model names. Landice is no exception since their treadmills have similar names. If you are a little puzzled on the differences of each Landice model then here’s a brief explanation.

You might notice the L7, L8 or L9 label on a Landice treadmill, each of these has its own unique feature.

The L7 series is available in LTD or Club versions. An LTD treadmill is best for home or corporate use, while a Club unit is made for fitness clubs.

The L8 series is only available in LTD version. It doesn’t have a Club version for fitness centers.

The L9 series is only available in Club versions. It doesn’t have an LTD model for home or corporate use.

Also the L7 has a lighter roller and a shorter running deck compared to the L8 and L9 models. The L9 has the heaviest roller and longest running deck of the three. The heavier the roller the more durable the treadmill and the longer the running deck the more space you have to run.

The Difference between the Pro Sport Trainers, Cardio Trainers and Executive Trainers lies in the display. The Pro Sport only has a basic display while the Executive has the best and most incredible display of the three.

Features and Benefits

The 3.0 HP continuous duty Baldor motor offers you speed from 0.5 to 11 MPH. Making sure you get an intense workout everytime. It is made in the US, so you can be sure it is of good quality. It is capable of continuously delivering 3 horsepower without overheating.

The Landice L7 LTD Cardio Trainer treadmill can be inclined for up to 15%. With this elevation, even the most hardcore of runners will get an extremely tiring workout.

The 1” thick reversible deck with the " Softer than Grass" VFX shock absorption system makes sure that you get the most comfortable run. Plus, it helps prevent joint, knee and ankle injuries.

The safety lanyard with magnetic key switch gives you added security should you need to stop anytime during a workout. This feature is especially useful when you get dizzy in the middle of a run and you want to stop the treadmill as fast as possible.

The Landice L7 LTD Cardio Trainer treadmill’s 2 1/2" diameter, 14 lb steel rollers require less tension compared to smaller rollers since they have more surface area to grab the belt.

The rust free aluminum frame has a user weight capacity of up to 400 lbs. This is the strongest in the industry. Instead of steel, the Landice L7 LTD cardio trainer treadmill uses aluminum for its frames. Aluminum is proven to be three times stronger than steel per unit weight.

The Landice L7 LTD Cardio Trainer treadmill uses the most efficient flywheel. Its high-inertia cast flywheel not only provides for a smooth feel, it also protects the motor and electronics from damaging foot-plant spikes that reduce life, thus, giving it a very long, repair-free treadmill life.

Unlike the Pro Sports version, the Landice L7 LTD Cardio Trainer treadmill also offers a color, dot-matrix motivational display.

Built-in programs, user programs, and wireless interactive heart-rate control make this machine a must have. Plus, you’ll be guided through your workout with a unique program progress indicator.

Finally, this Landice treadmill comes with a 5 year commercial warranty. 5 year parts / 1 year labor (Warranty is valid for commercial settings where usage is less than 5 hours per day).

Is there a Weakness?

The only weakness I see is that the upgrade in electronics from the L7 LTD Pro Sports is a little overpriced.

This is a good treadmill, but I believe the Pro Sports version of this machine provides better value.
