Ironman M2 Treadmill Review

Ironman M2 Treadmill
The Ironman M2 treadmill is one of the best deals you will find in an $800 treadmill. It has better specs and
features than most treadmills in the price range it is in.
Is This Treadmill Right for You?
Although this is a good machine to own, don’t expect too much from it. No matter what experts say, it is still an entry level treadmill. And you should only consider buying it if you really are on a tight budget.
What It Offers
For a treadmill below $800, this unit has a huge motor. It comes with a 2.0 HP continuous duty motor that has a max speed of 10mph and a max incline of 12%. This is definitely one of the most powerful, if not the most powerful motor in its price range.
However, the 18” x 51" tread belt is smaller than most people are accustomed to. So I don’t think hardcore runners would feel comfortable running on it. But the good thing about this is that the motor won’t have a hard time moving the belt, since the motor is big and the belt is small. Thus, your treadmill should last longer.
And finally, like most Keys brands, (Ironman is owned and manufactured by Keys Fitness) this treadmill boasts a 10 year motor warranty. This is definitely hard to match especially by other entry level machines. Other warranties include lifetime for frames, 1 year for parts and 90 days for labor.
Weakness
Like most entry level models, this treadmill comes with cheap parts. In an effort to keep prices low, most Keys Fitness parts are imported overseas. But this move also resulted in below average quality for most of their products including those in this Ironman series.
Recommendation
I would recommend the Ironman M2 treadmill to those looking for an entry level model. It is hard to find a better deal than this in the $800 price mark.
