Horizon Elite 3.1T Treadmill

Horizon Elite 3.1T Treadmill

The Horizon Elite 3.1T treadmill is currently the best treadmill in the Horizon lineup. It is arguably the best this company has ever produced, and this includes machines from both the Horizon and Elite series.

Is It Right for You?

This unit is perfect for people who really want a Horizon machine. It is also one of the best looking mid-priced treadmills. However, like most Horizons, this one also comes with cheap parts. So if you’re a serious runner, this is not something you’d want to buy.

Features and Benefits

The Elite 3.1T boasts a 2.25HP continuous duty motor which has a max speed of 10moh and a max incline of 10%. This motor is good enough to give most runners a decent workout.

The 20” x 55” running space is long enough to accommodate your strides no matter how tall you are, while the 300 lbs user weight capacity assures that this treadmill will be stable even if used by big individuals.

Horizon also included 5 preset and 1 user programs to add more variety in your workouts. And, the 4 blue backlit LCD windows simultaneously show you feedbacks on your exercise information that are most important to you.

And finally, like others in the Elite series, this one also comes with a remarkable 25 year motor warranty. This is one of the best motor warranties in this machine’s price range. Other warranties include lifetime for frames, 2 year for parts and 1 year for labor.

Weakness

Horizon used cheap parts in manufacturing this model so don’t expect it to last very long. Other than that this is a decent treadmill to own.

Recommendation

If you really want to have a Horizon model, then I would recommend the Horizon Elite 3.1T treadmill. This is, in my opinion, the company’s best treadmill as of the moment.

Also, if all you want is a high quality mid-priced treadmill even if it’s not from Horizon, then you might be interested with the Smooth 7.1HR. It is currently the best treadmill below $1,500.
