Evo FX4-M Treadmill Review

Evo FX4-M Treadmill

Evo FX4-M Treadmill

Update: This treadmill has been discontinued

The Evo FX4-M treadmill is similar to the Evo FX4 treadmill but with motion control and heart rate and wireless heart rate control.

All in all, the FX4-M is arguably the best Evo treadmill in the market today.

Is This Your Best Buy Treadmill?

If you’re looking for a huge mid-priced treadmill with wide running surface, good stability and great cushioning, then this is the model for you. Plus, it is equipped with the patented motion control feature which makes this model even more appealing.

Features and benefits

The Evo FX4-M boasts the motion control feature. It lets you adjust the speed of your run by waving your hand over light sensors on the handrail. This is perfect for hardcore runners who usually runs on a fast pace as it won’t require you to uncomfortably lean and reach forward while in motion, just to change your speed.

This machine also comes with a 2.75 HP continuous duty motor which is pretty good considering its price tag. This motor has a speed range of 0.5-10mph and incline level of 0-15.

The 20” x 54” running surface is long and wide to give you more space to be comfortable during your workout. Not only that, you’ll also get the Swing Arm frame cushioning system to reduce harmful impact on your joints, ankle and knees.

The 1/4 mile running track, 3 pre-set programs with 12 intensity levels each, and the 9 user programs give you more variety and flexibility in your run. And if you like to workout in your target heart rate zone for a more efficient exercise, this machine also allows it through the handrail grip pulse monitor and the new wireless heart rate control.

Other features include non-slip large 2.5” rollers to extend the life of the belt, deck and roller bearings, a textured whisper weave belt to minimize noise, shock-assisted manual fold with four-wheel castor system for easy movement and storage, and 8 user data memory profiles so you can save your workouts And finally, this treadmill comes with decent warranties. It has a warranty of 10 years for the motor, 5 years for the belt/deck/rollers, 3 years for parts, one year for labor and a lifetime for frame.

Weakness

Although the listed price already includes shipping, you would be charged extra for the indoor delivery and set-up. And since this machine is quite heavy and does require some assembly, you might be forced to pay this.

Recommendation

If you want an Evo treadmill with motion control, this is arguably your best choice. It is the one considered by TreadmillDoctor as the best treadmill in the Evo lineup. So to conclude, I do recommend the Evo FX4-M treadmill.

However, if you don’t really need the motion control feature and you just want a high quality, excellent value treadmill that fits your budget, then I’m inviting you to visit our best buy treadmills page to find the machine that you’re looking for.
