Bremshey Treadline Trail

Treadmill just stopped working when I was walking on it, displaying the E1 error message. It could not be restarted and there appeared to be no cause for the problem. After talking to Accell(North American reps for Bremshey) service department, they suggested that the motor control board and the walking belt needed to be changed. This would cost nearly $500 including parts and labor. Having kept up with the rigorous maintenance outlined in the user manual, I was a bit surprised that a permanent and fatal error could occur on this rather expensive piece of equipment which proudly displays the words "German Design and Engineering" on its frame. I was told that ultimately, the error must have been mine. I lubricated the belt not enough, or too much, or used the treadmill in a way it was not intended. I was quite upset by this point and suggested that perhaps cheap components and a massive design flaw was responsible for my predicament. No more communication was possible after this.
As it stands, I have an $1800 treadmill, which only works as one after I cut the drive belt off. Now I can walk on it with just the rollers running free. Not at all what I paid for.
Reading the many problems with virtually every make and model of treadmills, I can only conclude that a non-motorized version is the only option.

Bremshey E1 Error
by: Anonymous

I just purchased the treadmill and getting an E1 error. After a minute or two after I turned it on it suddenly stops and won't move. It is a new unit!

we found out that we have the same problem with our bremshey treadline trail.I wonder if we could make a collective claim for this kind of problem that seems to be 'not unique'.
